Nature will take its course. Perhaps everyone would like some aspects of life to be different, but control from other sources only extends so far.
Paths cross, seeds are sown and life forms are grown. Likes and dislikes have some influences on choices and decisions. Is it sensible to oppose or block surges of natural flow?
Ideas are aired, sometimes capturing the collective imagination. Laws might protect the rights of those who come up with them, but only for a while.
Tales are told, based on myth, legend and history. Why do some stories resonate more than others?
Self control is reliable. Anything else is uncertain.
