One or two of us will have to bear a torch for the traditions of the not too distant past.
The folks who set them alight did so with love in their hearts.
Sadly, there weren’t enough social observers and chroniclers interested enough to preserve these efforts.
It’s unlikely that current interpretations and/or models will do full justice to the work.
But past, present and future generations deserve to be keep in the loop of learning and memory.
