It’s tricky when there is so much to unpick in a single moment.
In an ideal world, it would be great to be free to call things as one sees them, without needing to be concerned about consequences.
Once we accept that all living creatures are likely to have feelings, then matters take on a more complex direction.
Is it possible that the ‘free for all’ expressive atmosphere that some folks yearn for might also desensitise the capacities of many of us to feel either sympathy or empathy at times when those emotions could be helpful?
The feral energy of this moment is certainly teaching me many lessons.
