An acquaintance exhibited a low level of emotional intelligence, describing me as ‘lost’ in a social gathering.

This person knew me to say ‘hello’ and a few pleasantries to, when we were younger. Further down the line, he had more contact with me than ever before and was dismayed to find my personality to be different to the impression he carried in his mind.

Is being ‘lost’ a feeling felt from within, or an experience to observed from a distance?

An adventurous spirit probably feels lost when it is entangled in a limiting situation.

Safety is in the heart of the person who feels it.
