The Afrocentric Creatives Series
King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba is a new music theatre piece that I created which was performed at Theatre Peckham in London on 26 October 2019 during Black History Month UK.
Below is a series of conversations between myself, in my capacity as composer and scriptwriter, and the cast of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. The cast included singers Helen Karikari, Chloe Sami, Tasos Michalis, Keisha Nurse, Caroline Modiba and Grace Nyandoro; and some of the students who took part in the performance at Theatre Peckham – Isha Phillip, Noellie, Zahira Bloch and Kaliyah Phillip.
These interviews were first posted on the Afrocentric Creatives website.
