Sunday – day of rest. A time for reflection.
Reading the broadsheets with a roast lunch in a club near a canal, it was fun to hear contemporaries tooting their horns.
In another phase, the same time was used to learn repertoire from great operas. Singers learnt from seasoned old pros and also from each other.
Like a washing machine cycle, things keep on turning around.
