In recent times I’ve heard of people being described as ‘light workers’, especially by mystics and psychics on YouTube. The term was new to me, but I’ve found it be evocative and resonant.
If I had known the term as a young adult, I would certainly have used it to describe Mikhail Gorbachev.
I don’t know what my contemporaries thought of him in his heyday, but glasnost and perestroika were two ideas that filled me with hope for a better future.
No one is perfect. We can only do our utmost to make uplifting contributions towards the peaceful and equitable co-existence of our fellow humans.
Gorbachev was a giant on the world stage. Love and light to his soul wherever it might be right now.
