The people who leave indelible legacies that stand outside of time are not superhuman. They have priorities and they follow through on them.

And yet we wonder about those who seem to be doing weighty deeds that don’t always resonate. Why do they do what they do?

Is it because they never experienced the moment of illumination? They didn’t know the sensation of truly seeing the light?

Of what use is the light in the wider scheme of things? Reasons for being and doing suddenly make sense, perhaps.

Whether one’s preoccupations are local, global, personal or universal, they have angles that are relevant to everyone.
