A little bird told me what I need to do. I listened to the bird’s instructions and acted accordingly.
Doing so set me off on a path I hadn’t dreamt of, but it placed my actions in alignment with some attributes in my personality.
Even though it was clear that I was doing the right thing, I allowed myself to be talked into going on several detours. There wasn’t anyone else journeying on a similar path. My ideas were too outlandish, too musical, etc.
I did the best I could to ‘get with the programme’. This produced work that was acceptable, but the jury is still out, regarding how remarkable it was.
The words of a medium echo in my mind: ‘People will think they know what’s best for you, but you know what’s best for yourself’.
