The scriptures tell us we are all equal in the eyes of our maker. Silver spoons or the ‘wrong’ side of the tracks notwithstanding, human beings arrive and depart from the Earth plane in similar ways.
Our journeys from arrivals to departures are influenced by a wide range of factors, but we belong to the same species and we can choose where to focus our attention along the way.
Humans have been through a wild historical sequence of events. We can also choose to accept the circumstances we find ourselves in, or we can try other things out.
To make an omelette, eggs need to be broken. Maybe the eggs are beautiful just as they are, but baby chicks hatch out of them, even if we don’t use them as food.
In a similar way, tradition can be regarded as a fine thing, but all must change in the fullness of time.
