Who knows what lurks around the corner? Being fearful is a wasteful use of time and energy. Life is precious and should be experienced to the hilt, whenever possible.
Blue skies thinking, planning and strategising are best handled with a light touch. What are we left with when goal posts are reached? In some cases there are more toys to play with, but inner feelings tell us where we are really at.
Traces are left behind. Sometimes they help others to make sense of where we’ve been. Personal journeys might be of interest to others, but only if they are distracted from their own purposes.
Large groups of people with shared experiences often have lessons to teach the rest of humanity. After a while, the lesson has been learnt and the learners move on.
There’s no point in being churlish when these things happen. The pendulum of time keeps on swinging.
