When things came to a standstill, due to lock down restrictions, a lot of angst was expressed. Coping mechanisms vary. Some folks were nimble on their feet in finding ways to adapt to the hiatus, whilst others might have less pleasant memories of the process.

Now that we are being encouraged to go about our business as usual, we are experiencing a new range of aches and pains. Uncertainty seems to be the pervasive ambience of the moment.

Tales are reaching me about people in desperate situations who have to relocate to other countries in order to survive. Video clips of angry citizens who trusted their leaders and are now feeling forlorn and forsaken are being circulated on social media platforms.

Meanwhile, we don’t know what will happen when people start mingling with each other, as we did before the disruption.

What do we need to do to feel grounded and stable in these uncertain times?
